Two copies of the will have survived: an original in the writing of Samuel Dix and a "true copy" in another hand. The text below follows the original, with additions from the copy where the original is illegible.
In the name of God Amen I Robert Seaton of Winslowe in the County of Bucks yeoman do make publish and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner& form following Imprimis I bequeath my soul to god who created it that it may be redeemed by the blood of Christ my saviour Item I give my body to the Earth to be Christianly and decently buryed at the discretion of my Executors of this my will after named Item I give and bequeath all my Goods & Chattells whatsoever to my son Robert Seaton Also I do appoint and ordaine my brother Richard Seaton of Winslow afores(ai)d and James Medcraft of Gawcot in the County afores(ai)d Mason, my Joynt Executors of this my last will and testament In trust for my said Childe to dispose and employ my said goods and chattels to the use & benefit of my said Childe Dated & published June the 10 Anno D(omi)ni 1676

Notes
Robert was the son of Hugh and Katherine Seaton, bap. 21 Dec 1636. His brother Richard was bap. 1632. He was given some propety by his father in 1671. Alice Seaton, d.1658, was their step-grandmother. Robert the son is later referred to as a bricklayer of Gawcott, and sold all his land in Winslow in 1697.
