Notes

William Jones made his will shortly after taking over The Bull, where he lived until his death 34 years later. He came from Marsh Gibbon and was probably connected by marriage to the Blake family. He and his wife Sarah kept the Crooked Billet at Marsh Gibbon before coming to Winslow, where they also kept the Crooked Billet before moving to The Bull. Sarah died shortly after William; see her will.
