John Bird surrendered a cottage in Winslow late Coxes with a shop, in the occupation of himself and Mary Stutsbury or one of them. To the use of Nicholas Brinsal, on condition that the surrender will be void if John pays him 24s on 7 March 1638 and 1639 and £16 4s on 7 March 1640 at Nicholas' dwelling house in Winslow. Fine 5s.
William Bowden surrendered 7½ acres in Grandborow to Robert Bowden and Elizabeth his wife and the heirs of their bodies, or for want of such issue to William's heirs.
Emma Stutsbury widow surrendered a piece of land in Winslow adjoining the land of Richard Wilson east, containing 50 feet in length and 6 feet in width as now divided. To the use of Richard Wilson. Rent 1d, fine 2d.
Richard Grace and Elizabeth his wife surrendered a messuage in Grandborow and a close called Colletts, and a virgate and half a quarter-virgate. To the use of Robert Manwaring clerk and Denise his wife. Fine £3 7s 6d, heriot a cow worth 33s 4d. Procedure of common recovery: Thomas Niccolles gent. complained; Michael Walker was called to warrant; Peter Fige gent. bailiff of the manor was minister of the court. All surrendered to Robert and Denise.
William Bowden and Robert Bowden and Elizabeth his wife surrendered a messuage in Grandborow called Rayners howse and a close and a half-virgate and 6 acres. To the use of Henry Stevens, after procedure of common recovery.

Peter Fige gent., bailiff of the manor, and Elizabeth his wife and Peter Fige gent. his son and heir and Martha his wife surrendered the capital messuage in Winslow in which Peter and his wife now live and four closes of pasture in Winslow: the groat Close, Hobhutchin Close, Rose Close and Pond Close, in all containing 15 acres of pasture, and a windmill, and all their customary lands in the parish of Winslow containing by estimate 63 acres of arable land, leys and meadow, to the following separate uses:
- half the messuage, namely the great chamber, storeroom [aula promptuar’] and the Milkhowse with chamber over, hall and porch, one bay of barn and Akillis belonging to the messuage at the north end of the barn, and half the garden adjoining the messuage extending to the "Whete Bullis Tree" with one part of the outer yard in width from the bay to the window of the hall and extending to the upper corner of thegarden hedge next to the pond in the courtyard[?] [iuxta stagnu’ in Atrio] belonging to the messuage, and 50 acres of arable land, meadow and pasture, part of 63 acres dispersed in the fields of Winslow, lately in the tenure and occupation of Thomas Hogson and John Seaton or their assigns, and now of John Seaton or his assigns (except for free ingress egress and regress for Peter jr and Martha, their servants and workmen and carts and carriages at all necessary times through the courtyard [Atrium], garden and other premisses and by the common ways commonly used) to the use of Peter sr and Elizabeth for their life, with reversion to Peter jr and Martha and the heirs of their bodies, or for want of such issue to the heirs of the body of Peter jr, or for want of such issue to the use of Valentine Fige, another son of Peter sr.
- The residue of the messuage and premisses to the use of Peter jr and Martha and the heirs of their bodies, or for want of such issue to the heirs of the body of Peter jr, or for want of such issue to the use of Valentine Fige.
Peter the father and Elizabeth his wife, Peter the son and Martha his wife sought admission. Fine £7 16s, heriot by composition 20s.
Peter Jackson on 16 Oct 1637 surrendered a cottage in Winslow with a close adjoining called Kinge Close and 24 acres of arable land and meadow: namely a piece of land at Naunditch, a piece of land at Smallidoles, a piece of land or meadow at Longmead leyes, a piece of meadow called Palms meade and a piece at Tookey hill, now in the tenure of Hugh Seaton sr. To the use of Hugh Seaton jr son of the said Hugh Seaton. Rent 7s, fine 50s, no heriot because he [Peter] has other lands.

Hugh Seaton jr surrendered half a cottage or tenement situate in Winslow, namely the "kitchin" with chambers over, parlor and hall and the eastern part of a close called Kings Close containing by estimate 3 roods as it is now divided, now in the tenure of Hugh Seaton sr or his assigns, and 6 roods of arable land lying together at Tookey hill containing by estimate 2 acres, the land of Robert Benbow towards the east, and 18 roods at Naunditch, Reeveham Meadow to the north, and half a meadow called Palms Mead towards the west, and half a piece of land called Smallidoles towards the west. To the use of Alice Seaton wife of Hugh Seaton sr for her life. Annual rent 3s 6d, fine 25s.
Thomas Shilborne on 2 Feb 1637 surrendered a piece of land called Clerkes furlong way containing 1½ acres with the hedge growing. To the use of Valentine Fige, who sought admission by Peter Fige gent. his father and attorney. Rent 4½d, fine 3s, heriot nothing because he has other lands.
[f.4v] Richard Hogson on 21 May last surrendered a messuage in Granborow to Christopher Smith.
William Gyles and Ann his wife surrendered a cottage in Winslow called the Crowne Corner, now in the occupation of Abell Seare. To the use of George Kirbey. Rent 17d, fine 5s. Plea of common recovery: Robert Hunter gent. complained against George on a plea of land; William and Ann Gyles called to warrant Michael Walker; Peter Fige gent. bailiff delivered seisin. All surrendered to George Kirbey.
Nicholas Mitchell surrendered 3½ acres of land in Winslow:
- 2 acres of arable lying together at Smallidoles, the land of Robert Manwaring clerk east, John Robson west
- 1 acre at Tookey, Robert Shelton east, Robert Benbow west
- a half-acre over Arrold hill, John Paxton north

William Stevens surrendered a messuage in Granborow in which Thomas Gryme now lives and 12 acres of land. To the use of Hugh Stevens his son and Hugh's wife Agnes.
He surrendered 1 acre in Granborow to John Stevens his son.
George Kirbey and Mary his wife surrendered one bay of structure situate in the Sheep street of Winslow containing 15 feet in length and 16 feet in width, and a parcel of land on the "backside" adjoining the bay containing 14 feet in length and 16 feet in width as now divided. To the use of John Bedles. Rent 2d, fine 5s.
John Bedles and Elizabeth his wife then surrendered to the use of Maurice Griffith clerk, on condition that the surrender will be void if John pays 20s on 14 Sep 1639, 1640, 1641, 1642 and 1643 and £16 on 14 Sep 1644 at the south porch of the church of East Cleydon. Rent 2s, fine 5s.
