Probate 27 July

Alice Jay was the daughter of John Evresdon, d.1438 (WMCB p.663).

Wescote = Westcott in Waddesdon parish, which had a chapel of the Holy Trinity in the late 14th century according to the VCH. That was probably Robert Jay's original home as the surname does not occur in Winslow before him.
