Notes

Elizabeth was the daughter of Thomas Goodger (d.1868); see his will for more about the family. The unnamed brothers were George, Charles and Eli. Elizabeth was aged 73 when she died, and her surname was registered as Goodyer. The 1891 Census lists her as "Shoemaker (her business)", with her brother Charles, shoemaker and widower, living with her. Their address is given as Buckingham Road, probably the house which is now 122 High Street.
