Notes

"Mrs Mary Fall of Woning" was buried at Addington on 13 Jan 1729/30. She was the daughter of Mary Fall (d.1724), and sister of "Sarah Mayne wife of Thomas, Gent of Dunton" who was buried at Addington in 1726. Thomas Mayne (then described as of Hoggeston) married Sarah Fall at Chetwode in 1715. Another sister, Philippa, married John Markham (d.1746), lawyer of Winslow, at Hinton in the Hedges in 1712.

Philippa was baptised in 1685 at St Giles in the Fields, daughter of "William Fall Gent and Mary his wife". The baptisms of the other sisters haven't been traced.

The will was apparently written by the Buckingham lawyer John Egerton, son of the late rector of Adstock Thomas Egerton.
