Notes

Mary Bradbury was buried at Granborough on 26 April 1814, aged 69. The surname became very common at Granborough in the 19th century but is not found in the 18th-century parish registers. She was probably the daughter of Thomas and Mary Bradbury baptised at Great Horwood in 1746. That would make her the sister-in-law of Thomas Blake of Winslow (1715-84). She was the housekeeper of Richard Stevens, under whose will proved in 1799 she inherited land at Biggin.
