[translation of Latin]  On 13 July in the year aforesaid appeared in person before Master William East the Archdeacon’s proxy Lawrence Smyth, natural son of William Smyth deceased, and sought that administration of all and every the goods of the same deceased should be committed to him.  The lord entrusted the administration of these goods, etc., to him after he had been sworn to administer the same well and faithfully, etc. notwithstanding the right etc.
