Notes

Dorothy Miller was buried on 21 March 1687/8. She was nee Wyatt and married Thomas Miller (bur. 8 April 1661) on 21 Nov 1641. Their children were:

fourth: mistake for third

The will seems to have been written by Richard Ginger; the writing is the same as that of William Eden 1689.

Thomas Miller's land was mortgaged in 1660, and in 1671/2 his son and heir Thomas arranged a new mortgage (the property seems to have been acquired by the Gyles family later):

Centre for Bucks Studies, BAS 376/22/24

Court Baron of Rt Hon Anthony Lord Ashley, Rt Hon Sir John Trevor, Hon. Thomas Osborne Barr, Sir Robert Murray & John Tilletson D.D., 8 Jan 23 Charles II 1671, by Edmund West, chief steward.
Christopher Rookes surrendered with the agreement of Thomas Miller:

To the use of Sir John Busby. To be void if Thomas Miller pays him at his mansion house at Addington £4 10s on 9 July next, 9 Jan and 9 July following, and the full sum of £150 with 6% interest at Michaelmas following. Rent 2s 3d, fine 18s.
Endorsed: 25 April 1679. I Sir John Busby of Addington was satisfied of all money due from Thomas Miller and surrendered this copy of the mortgage to him.
