Notes

Ann Green was born at Stoke Lyne in about 1781; her original surname hasn't been identified. Her husband Thomas was born in about 1770. Thomas Green the son was baptised at Winslow in 1807 and Mary (who married William Edwin or Eden) in 1815.

The house and cottage were on the site of what is now The Old Stable Yard between 32 and 34 Horn Street. Between the 1878 and 1898 OS maps, they appear to have been converted from houses to stabling. William and Mary Edwin and Alfred and Ann White were still living there in the 1881 Census. Alfred died in 1885. In 1891 they had combined into one household with Anne White aged 49, widow, laundress, her children, and her father William Edwin aged 76, widower.
