in the goods of Charles Clark her
late Husband deceased
                Dated 14th Sept(embe)r 1789

Archdeaconry of St Alban
The fourteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine

On which day appeared personally Martha Clark of the parish of Winslow in the County of Bucks and within the Archdeaconry aforesaid and alledged and made oath that she is the Widow Relict and next of Kin of Charles Clark late of the same parish Grazier deceased that the said Charles Clark lately died intestate therefore the said Martha Clark prayed Administration of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of the deceased might be granted to her under such security as the Law in that Case requires and further alledged that such Goods Chattles and Credits did not amount to the Sum of Two hundred pounds in value to the best of her Knowledge and Belief

Presumably Charles Clark was a tenant of the Lowndes estate. He was described as being of Aylesbury when he married Martha Hawkins at Winslow on 25 Dec 1783. She was the niece of Susanna Hawkins (d.1783).
