Proved the 28th day of April 1736 before Thomas Price clerk & Batchelor of Laws Surrogate by the Oath of Ann Stutchbury Sole Executrix to whom Ad(ministra)c(i}on was Com(m)mitted she being first sworn duely to administer.
Notes
Susannah was the widow of Joseph Brack who described himself in his will as “of Buckinghamshire late officer to the Sherriffs of Middx” (TNA, PROB 11/588/295, proved 1722); she only received a legacy of £100 from him. Her connection with Joseph Bigg hasn’t been traced but he had extensive property interests. Thomas Turnham, the other trustee of the marriage settlement, was probably the man of that name who worked as bailiff for the Sheriff of Bucks.
