John Duncombe gent. steward. Samuel Gyles of Biggleswade, draper and Bridget his wife surrendered a close of pasture ground containing 4 acres now or late in the occupation of John Bailey, abutting the land of Mr Nicholas Merwin west, the house and yard now or late of John Burrall butcher east. To the use of Richard Hurst of Addington, grazier. Rent 1s, fine 8s.

William Duncombe gent. steward. Richard Hurst late of Haddington [sic], grazier, deceased, held one messuage or tenement at the Upper End of Cow Street now or late in the occupation of John Burrall, and a close of Pasture ground containing 4 acres now or late in the occupation of John Baily. On 1 Nov last he surrendered to the use of his will. By his will dated 1 Nov 1750 he devised them to his niece Jane Hurst, who desired to be admitted. Fine 13d.
