View of Frankpledge with Court Baron of Richard Lowndes esq. by John Duncombe gent. steward. The homage presented that Mary Bigg widow held to her and her heirs one messuage in the Market Place in the occupation of John Brickhill; one acre of sweard ground in Dudslow Furlong in New Milfield; ½ acre of sward ground in the same field shooting up to the Mill; another messuage in Winslow in Great Horn Street in the occupation of Hugh Willis; a messuage in Little Horwood in the occupation of George Whitehead and the land thereto belonging, and a third of a yardland in LH. She died since the last court. Heriot compounded with the lord at £3 3s. On 15 [...] 1745 she surrendered all holdings out of court by George Clarke and Henry Stutchbury the younger, to the use of her will. She made her will [recites will]. Stephen Bigg was admitted tenant. Fine 5s.
