Buckingham Advertiser, 2 June

Winslow RDC
TELEGRAPH POLES.- The Clerk read a letter from the Postmaster-General asking permission to erect poles in Winslow.  On the suggestion of the Clerk, it was resolved on the proposition of Mr. Neal, seconded by Mr. Mead, that permission be given so far as the Council’s roads were concerned, but that the Council had nothing to do with private property owners.
