Will of Mary Ann Jones, spinster, 1852 (proved 1853)

This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Ann Jones of Winslow in the county of Bucks spinster I direct that grave stones may be erected to my memory and the expenses attending the same paid out of my estate and effects I give and bequeath unto my mother Elizabeth Jones the legacy or sum of one hundred pounds to be paid within twelve calendar months next after my decease in case she shall survive me and I direct that the said legacy shall lapse in the event of her dying in my lifetime I give and bequeath unto my brother Newman Jones the legacy or sum of one hundred and twenty pounds to my nephew George Jones Emerton the legacy or sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to my niece Elizabeth Mary Emerton the legacy or sum of one hundred and fifty pounds and to Louisa Lloyd the present servant of my said mother and myself the legacy or sum of ten pounds to be paid to them respectively within twelve calendar months next after my death I give and bequeath to all and every the children of my Brother Thomas Jones who shall be living at the time of my decease the legacy or sum of ten pounds each to be paid to them respectively within twelve calendar next after my death and in case any of them shall be minors I direct that their respective receipts or the receipts of either of their parents shall effectually discharge my executor I direct that the debt due to me from my Brother Robert Williatt Jones if he shall be my debtor at the time of my death shall be the primary fund for payment of the legacies hereby bequeathed and of my debts I give and bequeath unto Robert Williatt Jones absolutely All other my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever remaining after payment of my just debts my funeral and testamentary expenses I appoint my said Brother Robert Williatt Jones sole Executor of my will and revoke all other wills In witness whereof I the said Mary Anne Jones the Testatrix have hereunto set my hand this eleventh day of August One thousand eight hundred and fifty two
